Now, this is the moment that both some and none of you have been waiting for. As the post title suggests, I've been making these designs between last night and moments ago this afternoon dedicated to making spoof versions of the most popular yet quite bit recent movie known as K-Pop Demon Hunters, reminiscing the capture of their amusing album cover art from Sony and Netflix. I also want to chatter why I chose these characters based on said post title, but first we have:
Golden:
(Note: Further apologies because I do think adding the jet plane is way too complicated to pull off, especially when it's at this level. Again, these designs are simple, so still am an amateur on pulling off these designs. I'm not like a executive-level professional just like the people working at Sony, you know the movie company that created The Mitchells vs. The Machines and Spiderman: Into The Spiderverse. If you know, then, you know. Moving on to the next design...)
Original Soundtrack Version:
(Note: Yes, I had the right mindset on how this design would turn out. Again, giving due credit and respect to Sony since it's their property (that's why every design has a disclaimer that says so). Now being that this would go well judging on how I look at it, it was a result where I barely messed up because side note in that note, Soap isn't the most enjoyable to design with due to her cylindrical body being that she is a cylinder soap bottle, but other than that, that's all I can put out there.)
Okay, now that some things are out of the way, let me chatter and scatter around with some blah blah blah info-dumping to do while we're on this topic.
Despite me not watching the entire movie, I got to say, these songs were bangers and so much fire is in the works, words can't describe how unfathomable those musicians and soundtrack artists were thinking when they first thought of K-Pop music. Because of course, K-Pop music is only problematic if it's mainly because of the management of a celebrity, and worst of all, K-Pop fans. Like they are one of the most stringent human beings on this planet. Anything they complain about when it comes to their favorite celebrities like dating rumors or whatnot, they are just really fed up that their idols keep doing these things are not supposed to. KPDH, on the other hand, they have such a healthy K-Pop band where no fans have a conflict with one of the celebrity members. That's all for me to know about this movie, other than food and a highly OP charisma level. Geez.
Now being that Soap, Microphone, and Taco have such a strong sense of being besties since they get to compete together in Season 4, I know I have to shove in the K-Pop animated movie into my thoughts that this power trio in this season, might have a connection to the Huntrix band, the K-Pop band in question on why their social behavior is by far the healthiest amount any K-Pop fanbase would never understand. All that is to say that Soap, Mic, and Taco does resemble Huntrix members, in a way that I envision them as. Let me give you some insights for context:
Soap as Rumi: To me, she does have lead singer potential considering has her own song back in S2E7, where OJ does command contestants to clean his precious hotel as a bidding from him. Soap, also having a singing voice at the time before Season 4, she was basically shining around the spotlight, just like Rumi is, because you know lead singer. Now Soap could probably the leader of the friend group in Season 4 alongside Taco and Microphone whenever one of them accidentally betrays the other, that being said, this could also reminisce by the fact Rumi is so connected with her friends Mira and Zoey, to the point that there would have almost no conflict throughout the movie. I see them as BFFs at some points, besties in other words. Speaking of the other two, there's;
Microphone as Mira: What can I say, both of them being the tallest of the friend group. Microphone is the loud and proud competitor she is, while Mira is like, probably is a mix between tough, soft-spoken, and somewhat monotone when not singing. Both of them I do think they have bad girl energy, but to be clear, this contradicts Mic's newfound purpose to be honest with herself and to others. I don't know much other than the fact that both of them being heavy hitters, with Mic being confident at doing challenges while driving away her insecurities, and Mira probably killing the most demons like the queen she is. Pretty, pretty. Now, for the last entry, there's also:
Taco as Zoey: Taco is by far the easiest character to compare with alongside any of the Huntrix members, because usually she has a double identity when she went from "SOUR CREAM!" to miraculously hitting high notes with a British accent like the gentlewoman she is. The same can be said to Zoey as mentioned in the song Golden, it was implied that she was in Burbank, California in her youth years as a student, which is how she is a rapping legend, spitting from bar to bar. On top of that, I can't forget to mention Taco's silly, stupid, and random personality in Season 1 judging by how she was the Rocky from BFDI of II, not as even more stupid by vomiting literal human barf. Zoey is also depicted in the movie as witty, bubbly, and pretty much the hyperactive goofy goober of the Huntrix friend group, because girl is just enjoying life with her friends while being stupid as she is, like girl you're like Season 1 Taco, just almost dumb as her.
Anyways, this closes of my insights on different character with II and Huntrix. Sadly, I can't do the Saja Boys because characters like Baby and Romance do have like complex personalities. Box is pretty good at resembling Mystery considering her past "life" despite the different genders. The easiest choice would have to be Trophy and Abbie, jocks who only flex off their looks and tough personality, but may not work due to Reason 1: Trophy is trying his best of having a soft spot and not just showing off like the jock he was once was; and Reason 2: Trophy doesn't typically exercising or just doing sports I guess, but rather photography as his most passionate hobby he can do. That leaves me with Jinu, and I'd say pass, because his personality is too unique for me to play Eenie Meenie Miney Mo with different characters that might act like him from charming looks to charisma. So... yeah, that's basically all there is to the whole chatter-y stuff.
Let me know which design is best. To redo my previous iteration, most of the designs I made is given proper credit and due respect to Sony and the animation team Sony Pictures Animations, as well as providing images from of course, multiple sources from the Internet in general like different images to the BFDI and II assets wikis that you can find for assets. So to close off this post, have a great day/night II wiki.
One time I had a dream where I was a character in Season 2, but for some reason I was screaming “PANDA BEARS!” and “SOUR CREAM!”. I was Taco but with no arms and with chicken instead of tomato toppings.
Also, the real Taco did exist but for some reason my character and her never interacted at all. Not even acknowledge each other’s existence. I was married to Microphone, for some reason. No idea why she chose a knockoff Taco over the real one.
The audience didn’t even exist. Literally. It wasn’t even on YouTube or anything, it was just an early season 2 episode with Microphone always by my character’s side.
What do they mean my dad was making a McDonald's order and the worker misheard lemonade as M&M's Mcflurry😭
including some aus of mine, like objectifIIed and artificial normalcy
also those uh. furry designs. coughs
Now with TPOT 18 and TPOT 19 announced in VidCon and the summer tour respectively, I thought why I made a post on why whoever One talks to, they are the ones going to an adventure that leads them nowhere, specifically Algebra Playground and where they are heading as their next whereabouts. Started only in TPOT 12, I can only think of the ones who have counterparts from Inanimate Insanity and why I see them this way. Not including the ones who were indeed made a deal with One, but to those that were eliminated in Two's elimination place.
Now I have arranged them based on who was the first one announced to be eliminated, with the recent pattern where a lot of female contestants were eliminated in TPOT 12, and ending in TPOT 17 with YF. But that is unnecessary so, let's jump right into it.
1) Bomby - Bomb
Pretty straightforward. But the good thing is that the tour shorts made both of them interact, which is nice, and also bonus points. At least they had fun together for a bit. Since that's simple enough, that's it for the explanation, not much to say.
2) Bell - The Floor
So you got ask, where is II's Bell. We know what happened in the II2 Movie Finale, she's dead yet she has to option to stay or sacrifice in order to be set free from the digital void. Almost most traits between II's Bell and BFDI's Bell are the same, however, that is still the case for II's Bell to not have that much of an opportunity to be seen on the show whenever Season 4 rolls around. And I find it to be boring since II's Bell has legs only.
So that's when The Floor comes in. Here's thing between BFDI's Bell and The Floor. Not going over gender differences, no no, but the fact both of them can connect between sky and land is actually quite phenomenal. You can argue that II's Bell could never do that, but what's even better is this in particular: If BFDI's Bell doesn't have a string most of the time, then she be carried around by anyone. Same goes for The Floor whenever he teleports into the little terrarium that he can stay in. That goes to show that they share traits too, both connected with nature, and portable in different ways. Moving on to the next character, there's...
3) Barf Bag - Box
Don't tell me why I had to choose because they are both precious to me. But... If that's the case here's a good reason. (depending on how much justification it will take)
Let's start with the basics, Both are brown, both are made out of paper, both are girls, and they share some of marking displayed in them, with Barf Bag having a marking because of the barf liquid she holds.
Now one thing to mind is that both BFDI's Taco and Barf Bag share a similar voice actor, but in Inanimate Insanity, II's Taco and Box are pretty unique when they speak on their own, making them more compelling on their own than two characters voiced by someone talking to themself. I know Kenzie is a good voice actor, and she does have like a number of characters she voices like a lot of BFDI crew members, and she can sing, but II's Taco has her own duet with the late MePad, while Box was a backup vocalist in the I.I. musical score during the Keep on Cleaning reprisal. Speaking of which, Barf Bag knows how to sing Owl City, so she gets credit at least.
Finally, their characters in their shows. in BFB Phase 1 (Pre-Split), Barf Bag was amazing in BFB 12 -BFB 14, knowing that she was level-headed and rational towards the things she stood up at. And she also accepts the realization that Spongy is no longer her best friend, which is sad, because this recycled by the fact they also made BFDI's Taco and Spongy best friends, which is just half a Deja Vu. However, the sad part is that because of writing that affected a lot of characters in TPOT had to be bystanders and backgrounds, Barf Bag was among them that stood out, and at the same time never got any potential because of writing. On the flip side, back in 2013 Inanimate Insanity, they introduce us to Box, which at the time, she was bit of a hassle to just watch considering the creators used her as a joke back in the day. However, the last act of II2 Movie Finale made Box a pretty compelling and fun character. Her being an outcast is a contradiction towards Barf Bag because she does have a lot of interactions, specifically this one to be exact: What Barf Bag sees Donut as a voice of reason and plot compass towards to most of TPOT goes as the same with Box when she sees Suitcase when trying to bring their lives back together. Box was destined to be well-liked. However, this is just only one episode, so new moments of her are yet to be shown until II Season 4 to fully explore more of her.
So in conclusion, I'm like the few people to see this like some sort of vision, in fact, the only one in this wiki alone to notice that vision. Barf Bag and Box are so similar in terms of traits but their characters are handled differently towards each show's progression, and yet there are some good amount of characters to choose. We don't need to blame BFB Pre-Split since we have to be fair and say "It's so hard and exhausting to write all the characters in one episode. Give me a break!" So yeah, in the future, Barf Bag isn't too late to make an opportunity to go through a character arc where all of them can finally know if to trust numerical and mathematical extraterrestrials that are passive to see if their species were made by malice and agony. That concludes this analysis, being that it's the longest out of the other three. Speaking of which...
4) Needle - Microphone
I don't know, Needle was so hard to chose in terms of every character trait she possesses for Microphone to fit, but like most traits match even though it doesn't matter in terms of same object, but she mostly comes off as a combination between Needle and Lollipop, in a sense that this the result that doesn't have the required sense to be up to date. One minor trait is that Needle can also sing, so her being a match in terms of theme, which is musical, makes sense? Other than that, Microphone is still a mix between Needle and Microphone, with an honorable mention being Blueberry with only super human abilities, capable of wielding that much raw strength. And another honorable mention being Silver Spoon since also has also superpowers, but that's contradicted with Needle's niceness towards Silver Spoon's so-called "rich boy ego", otherwise having such arrogance in an luxurious manner.
So that's it for the post, I think there would be disagreements, with exception of the first one since it doesn't matter, which is fine.
It's worth mentioning that my comparison analysis between Barf Bag and Box is watching videos from InfoDIstrict, Worst Trends, and a pretty small YouTuber who also tackles the same topic as the first two. So yeah, very long post to make. Good day and good night II wiki members.
Alexa Chapman no longer voices Salt and Pepper. And Kacie and Hailey aren’t part of voice acting anymore either. Is it because of the Justin Drama? If that’s the case then who is gonna voice Soap and Microphone now?
TW: BLOOD!
(i will call her that bc idk what was going on in my head)
Microphone Ashender would appear in Chapter 4: Guess the Aspiration!
She was half taught to act like a bestial, Painty the Spaniel could feed her one of Lightbulb's cakes, sometimes, Microphone will aggressively eat it that Paintbrush would start to get a bit concerned
Also Microphone made a deal w/ Tissues
