If you're wondering how MePhoneX is alive again here, Lampy, with what knowledge he has of technology, basically uploaded the original MePhoneX's memory to the other MePhoneX's body since there's canonically two of him, with the one that may or may not have survived basically just being a mindless automaton, so no Lampy didn't kill someone's consciousness just to get his boyfriend back lmao. The reason he's surprised is because he didn't think it would work :]
