I might as well rush through things, and say that my family would reserve for a hotel room tomorrow to dedicate the fact that it's my mother's birthday in the next two days. That's all I can say.
Hi, hello. Now that S4E4 has released for a past week, I might as well talk about what kind of events would occur in this formula I consider it to be tradition since it is valuable to my digital footprint aside from my other contributions in this wiki. Now before I talk about stuff and point out my most prevalent slots that I want to talk that I got right, I will omit the other slots that are usually there because this is how they do, with some exceptions that I'd like to point out. So let's start shall we?
So I know I did check that they didn't put the merch promotion in the episode, but it does count for me because this was prior to the episode in question as a way to promote it for their upcoming content, which per se is pretty clever not that next year is 2026 and that the staff is embracing their new look to complement the current state of the show, with a new vibe and storylines to be in the works amid to construction.
Although, MePhone4 wasn't the most prevalent part of the episode, or in other words that they pay dedication to him, that being said Cammy did have a glimpse of knowing that he was there, which I can assume that counts. So yeah, MePhone4 is still not forgotten as much in this season.
Despite saying that there are slots being omitted granted with how they work and not specifying which is which, I would have to point continuity references that I did captured while I watched the episode:
Cammy did say his promise to be competing alongside the game in exact verbatim, but in Fan's case, with Teddy Bear saying that he is still alive. As for MePhone4 though, his whereabouts are unknown at the moment. (Editor's Note: I meant to talk about MePhone4 about his whereabouts and not Fan since, you know what happened. Apologies)
Also saying their line in verbatim, Jack helps out HMPS the same way he did it with Circumspect now that they lost MeTag.
Box does her "Yep!" with a thumbs up, which is likely referenced to how she said in II2E18 when Suitcase asked her about many characters who were created in MeLife.
OJ takes over for Fan now that he is fighting for his life. I will talk about my reaction to it in my review since I have to understand how prevalent his sudden mishap led to him at risk of his life. But for now, OJ did a better job at hosting than he did in II2E7 not gonna lie. This might work with any co-leader of the OSC to put into their power as they facilitate most of the game as supervisors to ensure the society binds together, but the thing is his bias for Paper might be existent throughout the series, which will lead to like conflicting situations regarding to that bias. So I'm hoping that OJ's bias takes it too well and uses his power to assist Paper a lot of the times in order for this to be fair play.
(Also yes, the accident or much worse fate slot has been implied, so I might not going to reiterate until I question what will happen to Fan for either good or bad.)
That said, I wish there will be an episode where Cabby manages the game with her power to comply many contestants in it since OJ and Suitcase have already done it in each episode they were featured in. I will bring this suggestion up in some prediction post, but it might not be that possible to consider.
Apparently I mentioned the fact that we needed more real world characters that have some contribution to the series but with their roles left with a mystery aside from the news reporters. And here we are with an unknown corn character, whose name has not yet identified in the series as of now. We don't have an established backstory for them yet since this is just their debut appearance, but in around like few episodes into the season that we know their name, their origins, and how Steven Lee Paul Cobs have impacted their perspective about him and what has become grief now turned into disdain towards the II characters that are still present today as we know it.
Okay, that pretty much wraps up my chosen slots based on how I got them correct, now let's talk about the ones I failed to mentioned based on how the episode plays out.
First of all, I mentioned Bot getting a repair in their left eye twice as of these results of tallying how many slots in many episodes, but I understand with Bot's compassion with the Shimmer energy, it's unlikely that they would eventually request Test Tube to repair their face in the future, unless the Shimmers would eventually appear and help out with this minor issue. But for now, Bot would try to get used to with this head injury as long as they can tolerate for who knows when.
Then there's the real world details, excluding its characters there outside the 50+ characters we've seen and known in the series. I was this close to knowing how this society is in contrast to the people who were once under control by a mobile device for his obsession of reality TV shows. Though this is not too serious or anything, so this is all I can say.
With the direction of the show, it might be tentative, or simply speculative that Poppy could still be a tame character that anyone can tolerate just to associate with them in midst of their presence needing some acknowledgement for the better. And even if there are mistakes they made, they might start to become positive in terms of character reception from the other characters knowing how they act and behave. Well, except for Paper, whose thoughts are still kept in just to witness if anything bad happens from then, but again, this is all speculative, so nothing might come true to light until what will soon happen next.
Finally, the cliffhanger not supposed to happen. Once again, I'll discuss about it myself in terms of what I perceive, but here's my judgment about this direction. Knowing how good the episode is, the more likely a cliffhanger might buildup for suspense for either a particular character or group of characters, or an event that entails a larger storyline to unravel, which I could hopefully assume how clever this concept will be if the writers have well thought of idea in order to build up certain characters who a have lacked moments in the past, or with new characters who have yet to receive anything new about themselves with few exceptions.
I will say this, but I wish there will be like short minisodes (or mini episodes) within the season that still engages the audience that will unpack many side plots that would happen outside of the main series with characters who don't really have the foresight to participate in the game. There will be like a short where contestants would go on side quests, or as I mentioned before the unidentified corn character, which I assume they were like a college student in their world, who graduated and received a Bachelor's Degree on Science of Culinary Arts/Management, now running a cooking show, and that Steve Cobs admired their recipes back when they were, I don't know, in their teenage years. So there is my concept of these kind of shorts.
Anyways, this is my bingo card and some details that I made to go along with each entry slots that I got correct and the ones I have failed to mention. Like I said, I have way too many plans in life personally, so this review will have an immense amount of procrastination until the right time to return. And yes, this includes my Christmas break plans and with school work as well. So with that, this has been CGM, on your scene and on your feed in a myriad of posts back-to-back. I hope you enjoy your day or night II wiki. Have a good one. Bye.
