This page is still under construction. More content may be added.

Hello! Welcome to Inanimate Insanity Wiki!. This is a page to guide people who can't speak Japanese as well as native speakers. As you can see, this site mainly uses Japanese. So you probably might not understand most, if not all content on this wiki.

In general, you should be fluent in Japanese in order to effectively edit articles. Any kind of machine-translated content must be clearly marked or be put into the /機械翻訳 (kikaihon'yaku, "machine translation") subpages.

If you are bad at Japanese but would like to contribute, you could do the following:

  • Import pages that aren't heavy on text from the English wiki.
  • Add interlanguage links.
  • Upload missing images.
  • Promote this wiki to other Japanese OSC members, wiki editors, or II fans, if possible.

Also, if you are terrible at speaking Japanese, it is recommended to put {{User Lang}} on your user page. (usage is written below).

For creators of fanworks[]

This wiki's mainspace is not the place to make or document fanworks. The Object Show Community Wiki is a good place for them.

Interlanguage links[]

This wiki normally uses the template {{Language}} for interlanguage links. The parameter names are language codes (available ones can be seen in テンプレート:UserLangCode/doc#言語コード), and the input is page name in that wiki. The code ens is for English and Spanish when the articles of both languages share the same name.

To make other links language from Japanese without that, use [[ja:(article name)]].

Useful tools for your userpage[]

Template:User Lang[]

{{User Lang}} shows your ability of languages. To use it, the syntax must be, {{User Lang|<Language Code>|<Level>}}.

The 1st parameter should be one of this and 2nd parameter should be one of the following characters:

  • 0 — You cannot speak the language and would like to not have a conversation with it.
  • 1 — You can do basic operation of wikis written in the language.
  • 2 — You can correct errors of articles written in the language and can discuss in the language.
  • 3 — You can make articles in the language.
  • 4 — You can understand and use the language as well as native speakers.

For example, if you write {{User Lang|en|N}}, the box below shows that you are a native English speaker.

テンプレート:User Lang
