Animation Epic en Español (Animation Epic in Spanish in English) is a YouTube channel created by the translation service Unilingo, which hosts the official Spanish dub of the Inanimate Insanity series. As of February 2025, every episode of Inanimate Insanity Invitational, the first seven episodes of Inanimate Insanity II, and several shorts have been dubbed.
On April 29th, 2025, voice actor Charly Wolfy posted a story to their Instagram stating that episodes were "no longer being recorded", essentially confirming the dub is no longer in production.

- There's a noticeable inconsistency with the title of the series, as the intros and video titles display "Inanimate Insanity" while characters refer to it as "Insanidad Inanimada".
- In addition, the description of the series (more specifically, of Inanimate Insanity Invitational) leaves both the title and some of the characters' names in English.
- Video descriptions list "'Battle for Dream Island' and 'Total Drama' by Jacknjellify" as inspiration for the series, mistakenly attributing the Total Drama franchise to Jacknjellify.
- As a result of Unilingo using vocal removers on the episodes in order to have a backing track to dub over, several lines of dialogue and noises can be heard overlaid on top of the original audio. Various sound effects are also missing altogether, and some noises are left undubbed from the original English version.
- Some mentions of the phrase "Oh my gosh" in season 3 are replaced with "¡No lo creo!" ("I don't believe it!") or "¡No puede ser!" ("It can't be!").
- The chant of "one, two, three, go!" in season 3's intro is dubbed inconsistently.
- In episodes 1 and 4, the voices fall out of sync. The chant was also slightly re-recorded in episode 4.
- The phrase is simply left undubbed from the original version in episodes 2 and 3.
- The sync error was finally fixed in episode 5 with another re-recording.
- In "Stranded in Paradise"...
- The video does not use the same video thumbnail as its original English release; instead, the thumbnail is a frame from the episode.
- The 60-Foot Cliff is converted into being 20 meters tall, but the title of "Tragedy at 60 Feet" claims it's only 18 meters tall.
- In the current re-upload of the episode, Yang is censored when he calls Paintbrush and OJ "idiots" while trying to get them to jump, something that didn't happen in the original upload.
- Bot's dialogue cuts off abruptly during their confessional.
- Nickel says in his confessional that his strategy for allying with Balloon is to "keep your enemies close", which was strangely translated in this dub as "keep your friends close".
- The intro in "The Shame of the Name" strangely plays at a louder volume than the rest of the episode.
- Starting from "The Shame of the Name", more gender-neutral wording is used throughout season 3, including "chiques", "amigx", and an "-e" ending on adjectives instead of "-o" (masculine) or "-a" (feminine).
- Similarly to the dub of Battle for Dream Island produced by the same company, death is censored inconsistently:
- In "Snapshot Showdown", when Lifering says "Once they're tired out, we go in for the kill", the word "kill" is bleeped, which also happens with related words (even down to the word "shoot") in "Breaking the Ice".
- In "Out of Body Experience", death is referred to by euphemisms such as "unsubscribing from life" and "annihilation". Apple also claims Bow "annihilated" herself during the events of "Journey Through Memory Lane (Part 2)" in "A Kick in the Right Direction", something that Marshmallow reiterates in "Let Er' R.I.P.". In addition, the message on the door to the closet in "Everything's A-OJ" claims that whoever opens it will be "unalived".
- In "Blue Buried", characters are censored with the sound of a bubble popping.
- In "The Great Bluish Bake Off", "Marsh on Mars", "Tri Your Best" and "Cooking for the Grater Good", there is no censorship at all.
- In "You Can't Do This Forever", Dr. Fizz refers to Blueberry faking his death in "Blue Buried" as an "execution" instead of a murder.
- In "A Kick in the Right Direction", Bow and Dough are said to be "not alive" instead of dead. Bow also calls herself "not alive" in "Let Er' R.I.P.".
- Walkie-Talkie seems to be male in this dub, as she has been voiced by a male voice actor in all of her appearances thus far. In "Snapshot Showdown", she also refers to herself as "Mister Popular" instead of "Miss Popular", and in "I Am Chocolate!", she calls herself a "small-town guy".
- "TWO OF THEM!? - BFDI X Inanimate Insanity 2023 Event", which prominently features the BFDI character Two, was released before their official debut in the BFB episode "The Escape from Four" was dubbed, meaning this short was the first time their Spanish voice is heard.
- In "Out of Body Experience"...
- MePhone calls Clover by her English name while announcing her match against Test Tube (6:47).
- The ghost version of Bow has no echo on her voice, as if she was dubbed with Bot in mind.
- In "Title TBD"...
- Saberspark's voice credit is still left in the video title, despite his character being redubbed by a different actor.
- "The Artistic Kick" isn't given an on-screen translation, while "Title TBD" is only translated as "Título PSD" in the few frames that appear between a shot of the characters and the actual start of the film. "The Artistic Kick" would later receive its translated title of "La Patada Artística" in "You Can't Do This Forever".
- The karate fighter in "The Artistic Kick" is left entirely mute.
- The background music during the elimination ceremony strangely plays at a very low volume, in addition to the voice quality dropping pretty noticeably.
- In "I Am Chocolate!", one of Silver Spoon's lines is left undubbed (14:07).
- In "Home Is Where the Heart Is", MePhone says that an assistant like The Floor is "the kind of assistant I need" rather than one he would be stuck with.
- In "Friend or Froze", the Looney Balloonies alliance calls itself by its English name after being translated as "Loquitos Globitos" in "Pesty Besties".
- For some reason, the translated logo made by Unilingo for season 3 is not used in "Spring on the Breakfast!".
- In the original version of "Blue Buried", Test Tube initially believes that the "CA" Blueberry wrote in the sand as a red herring means that Cabby must have killed him, while Bot suggests that it was Candle. In the dub, the clue is left intact, but it's made unclear how either of them came to those conclusions in the first place since neither "Archi" (Cabby's localized name) or "Vela" (Candle's) start with those letters.
- In the Spanish dub of "The Show Must Go On", Coiny is voiced by Guillermo Trazancos, who had also previously voiced the character in BFDI's Spanish dub.
- In "A Jury of Your Fears"...
- Springy confuses "reign" ("reinado") with "rain" ("lluvia") in his line about watching MePhone's reign melt away.
- "Hotel OJ" as a name was left untranslated despite OJ's name already having been adapted as JN.
- The noises of MePhone4 glitching after the Do Not Disturb plug is inserted into him are left undubbed from the original English version.
- The voting screens featured in the first four episodes of Inanimate Insanity II have all been removed. For unknown reasons, this practice was stopped starting from "A Kick in the Right Direction".
- The puns in the episode titles and a majority of the jokes that Cheesy makes are also lost due to very literal translation.
- The same description for season 3 is strangely reused for this season as well.
- In "Breaking the Ice", when Trophy talks to Knife around the 9:30 mark, his lines start to get jumbled and play earlier than they should, eventually resulting in one line being slowed down to fit the entire space of his current dialogue.
- In "Tri Your Best"...
- One of Toilet's lines (which is supposed to play at 7:04) is instead layered on top of one of Balloon's by accident (7:12).
- While talking to Microphone after the Bright Lights win the challenge, Nickel pronounces her nickname "Mic" with the long "i" sound, similarly to how the word is pronounced in English.
- Even though Knife is named "Filo" in this dub, the phrase "Kniferrific" is translated as "Cuchillástico".
- In "Cooking for the Grater Good"...
- Trophy asks Knife how to say "uvas" in English instead of "grapes" in Spanish.
- For unknown reasons, Charly Wolfy voices MePhone4 for one line during the elimination ceremony while using a voice filter to sound as deep as Julián Blas's voice for him (3:26).
- Pizza Cutter accidentally speaking Spanish despite supposedly being an Italian cook is adapted as him accidentally speaking English. He says "Oh my god!" instead of "Dios mío!", which is an equivalent translation.
- The joke of Suitcase accidentally confusing "flour" with "flower" is lost due to literal translation.
- In "A Kick in the Right Direction"...
- Instead of Nickel pointing out how he and Knife are alike because of how both of them have mean thoughts, he claims that they're alike because they both share the same voice actor, something that was likely improvised by Charly Wolfy on the spot.
- Baseball is accidentally left mute three times during the episode - once at 10:20 (when he tells Microphone to play another position), once at 12:12 (when he complains about there not being much competition against the Bright Lights), and the last at 14:12 (when he questions whether MePhone4 could bring Dough back to life).
