This article is about the relationships and interactions between Balloon and the other characters.
Balloon has been hated by contestants because of his cunning and manipulative nature, as well as his infamous voice actor's hack incident. Almost all characters distrust Balloon and look at him as a threat. However, once Balloon returned for Inanimate Insanity II, he began to change into a better person and tries to redeem himself with the other players, though it's very slow moving as a lot of players remember what he did and refuse to forgive him.
Apple[]
In "Breaking the Ice", Apple displays a very shocked reaction to Balloon's new speaking line.

Baseball[]
Since Baseball was on Team Epic, Balloon did not get to know him very well, especially because of his early elimination, and had no little to interactions in Season 1.
In "Double Digit Desert", Baseball remarks that Balloon will definitely not be rejoining the competition.
In Inanimate Insanity II, Balloon is placed on Baseball's team, The Grand Slams.
In "Marsh on Mars", Balloon volunteers to save Marshmallow for the challenge, but Baseball angrily snaps at him and doesn't want to let him compete. After Suitcase persuades Baseball, he lets Balloon go on the journey.
In “A Kick In The Right Direction” Baseball happily stares at Balloon while Balloon asks who is gonna be the goalie, then Baseball responds proposing Microphone because of her loudness.
In "Let Er' R.I.P.", Baseball reluctantly lets Balloon join him and his alliance during the challenge, but Balloon is scared off by Nickel.
In "Mazed and Confused", Balloon joins Baseball's alliance again in the maze and playfully allows Nickel to let Balloon become the team leader. Balloon later accidentally leads the alliance down a dangerous path full of traps and leaves the group after a fight with Nickel, which Baseball struggles to keep a hold of. Baseball sadly notes he could've done something to prevent the fight.
In "Kick the Bucket", Baseball suggests to Nickel to let Suitcase be friends with Balloon. After Balloon fails at the challenge, Baseball votes for Balloon at the elimination.

Bow[]
In "Crappy Anniversary", Bow makes reference to Balloon's catchphrase.
In "Let 'Er R.I.P", Bow's ghost remarks Balloon's redeeming revelation as boring, and promptly flies inside of him, inflates him, and pops him.
In "Stranded in Paradise", Balloon appears shocked when Bot appears from the wreckage of Boaty, believing they were Bow.

Bot[]
In "Stranded in Paradise", Balloon is shocked to see "Bow" seemingly come back to life.
In "Best Served Cold", Bot tells Balloon that they're the pink one. Balloon says he's salmon, to which Bot says "fish".
In "Out of Body Experience" Balloon asks Bot if they did commercials, still under the notion that they are actually Bow.
In I Am Chocolate!, Balloon, Nickel and Bot create an alliance together.
In Home Is Where the Heart Is, Bot and Balloon have several conversations pertaining to the butterfly that had been hovering around him and Nickel. Bot asks Balloon what he thinks caterpillars dream of, to which he says "becoming butterflies", and asks them what they think butterflies then dream of. Bot replies "being themselves", and lightheartedly tells him they noticed it was a trick question.

Cheesy[]
In "Marsh on Mars", Balloon asked Cheesy if there was anything he could do to help in the challenge. Cheesy makes a joke about his popularity.
However, in "The Show Must Go On", Balloon imagines a competition in which he and Cheesy interact. Cheesy sacrifices himself so Balloon gets a better chance at winning the challenge. Balloon hopes that Cheesy will learn to stop hitting himself for others amusement. Cheesy tells him that his social game is strong. Although, this interaction was just fantasy.

In "The Arena Of Death", Knife throws Marshmallow and unintentionally pops Balloon.
In "Sugar Rush", after Balloon is eliminated, he lands on Knife and pops.
In "Let 'Er R.I.P.", Knife sarcastically notes how untrustworthy Balloon was in the previous season in order to scare Suitcase.
In "Kick the Bucket", Knife gives Balloon the final ball to throw at the target, pushing him to prove himself. After Balloon fails at the challenge, Knife votes with the majority of his team against Balloon at Elimination Time.

In "A Lemony Lesson", Balloon is angry when Lightbulb gets to choose instead of him.
In "Breaking The Ice", Balloon slaps Lightbulb after she continuously begged to be chosen to compete.

In "The Arena Of Death", Knife throws Marshmallow and unintentionally pops Balloon.
In "The Penultimate Poll", as Marshmallow and Nickel discuss their surprise in how far Taco made it in the season, Balloon constantly adds in his opinion, but the two show their anger towards his interruptions.
In "Marsh on Mars", Balloon was one of the contestants people who wanted to save Marshmallow from space.
In "Tri Your Best", when Marshmallow gets shocked when Box is sinking, Balloon tells her that he's gonna save him.
In "Theft and Battery", when Steve Cobs kills Balloon when he says that his watch was dumb by the fact that it could make calls, Marshmallow displays a shocked expression from Balloon's death.

MePhone4[]
In "The Crappy Cliff", Balloon is highly shocked when MePhone4 says that he and Lightbulb would get to pick the teams in A Lemony Lesson, Ballon wasn't happy about this.
In "A Lemony Lesson", Balloon demands a prize to MePhone, MePhone asks where his attitude came from, MePhone4 explains to Balloon and Lightbulb about winning the last challenge, when MePhone told Lightbulb that she gets to choose first, Balloon talks to MePhone why she gets to choose first instead of him, MePhone4 tells him if he rememeber that Lightbulb jumped onto the water before him, despite Taco kicking her onto the water.
In "Sugar Rush", when MePhone tells Balloon and his team the elimination has cookies for prizes, Balloon seems to be happy about it, when MePhone admits that he ate all of them, Balloon and the rest of his teams are angry about it, when MePhone sarcastically says that he ate all of the candy corns, Balloon yells at him.
In "Double Digit Desert", when Balloon received the least votes out of everyone to rejoin, MePhone throws an egg at him.
In "Breaking the Ice", Balloon gets confused why MePhone came back, later Balloon disagrees with MePhone about Inanimate Insanity's 2nd anniversary being "cool".
In "Cooking for the Grater Good", when Balloon gets excited about hearing the Elimination Time! (song) for the second time, MePhone reminds him that he's not doing it anymore, Balloon was sad and asks him why, MePhone answers that it sucked.
In "A Jury of Your Fears", Balloon stands in front of the Walkie-Bots, which were being controlled by Walkie-Talkie to grab MePhone.

Paintbrush[]
In "Breaking The Ice", Paintbrush pops Balloon twice at the start of each challenge, once with a needle, and the next with a dodge-ball.
In "Best Served Cold", Balloon gives an angry Paintbrush a tissue to clean up their bristles, which were covered in ice cream. This seems to anger Paintbrush more, causing them to burn the team's Mile High Pie away a little.
In "A Jury of Your Fears", when the jury is locked in jail, Paintbrush says that they considered voting for Balloon to win the season, but were now considering Silver Spoon due to his strategies in the game.
In "You Can't Do This Forever", Paintbrush votes for Balloon to win.

In "Double Digit Desert", Paper tells him that Balloon is not rejoining and states that he's the one who is rejoining, after Paper rejoins the game, he jumps down from the Elimination Area and pops Balloon.

In "Breaking the Ice", Pepper displays a very shocked reaction to Balloon's new speaking line.

Taco and Balloon have been enemies from the very start, mostly because Balloon's bossy persona clashed with Taco's randomness and apparent uselessness. Although Balloon has reformed in season 2, he still appears to hate her, as shown in Everything's A-OJ and on his note in Rain On Your Charade.
