"Battle For Dream Island - After the Finale" is an animated short that was released on January 7, 2012. The video is Adam's take on what happened after Battle for Dream Island's 25th episode.
Description[]
So, what happens when Leafy and Firey fly away from the others? This is my take on it. Hope you enjoy.
Plot[]
After the events of BFDI 25, Firey and Leafy fly together on Snowball's Hang Glider. Firey asks where they should go, but Leafy needs to find somewhere safe. She still has the certificate, and Firey thinks they should go there. She thinks that Dream Island isn't real, but Firey thought it had to be real. Leafy mentioned to him that she got the certificate using Yellow Face's paper slips to trick the Announcer, and thought it was free.
In space, Announcer talks to the Blue Speaker Box about the money. He shows the money that turned out to be the paper slip Leafy gave him, and the Blue Speaker Box reminds him that it's just a paper slip, so he realized that Leafy lied to him and that they must take action immediately.
Back on Goiky, Golf Ball explains to Match that the execution was prevented and must become a nice civilization. Pin responds to this that the contestants must remain a stable community with the recovery centers gone, but a UFO lands, crushing her, which turned out to be the Announcer. He wants to destroy Leafy because the "money" Announcer gave her is just a paper slip, but Leafy isn't there with the other contestants along with Firey. Coiny is not going to tell him what happened to them, and tells Ice Cube if she wants to tell the Announcer. Coiny refuses to let Ice Cube tell him but she does it anyway. Snowball stops this and thought that Leafy and Firey flew westward. Coiny is stressed in his response, but Snowball didn't care for them, and tells that Leafy stole his Hang Glider.
When Leafy thought there was no Dream Island, she asks Firey that they should go to Yoyleland, but Announcer stops them and tries to shoot Leafy with lasers after he realized that the "money" isn't money. Firey saves Leafy from the laser, and Leafy is depressed that Firey would die, but he is fine, and told Leafy that he is fire since the laser burned up inside him. They give a big hug as Leafy is surprised that Firey is alive. Announcer thought Leafy would be oblivious and he can shoot again, but got crushed in the process with Flower's Announcer Crusher. Coiny was happy that it worked.
Firey and Leafy were glad that Coiny saved them, and Teardrop said that Dream Island was pretty dumb. The contestants are shocked that she could talk. With Announcer gone, Rocky says that they should live together in peace and harmony. Match then concludes by saying "Yeah!".

Trivia[]
- This short predicts what happened after the Battle for Dream Island episode "Return of the Hang Glider".
- For some reason, Teardrop speaks in this one, but in the series she doesn't.
- Funnily enough, two Battle for Dream Island Again and Battle for BFB episodes: "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", and the flashbacks in "Who Stole Donut's Diary?" contradict the short.
- This short uses eyes, mouths, and limbs from 4Seeing The Future to The Great Escape.
- Rocky speaks in this short, even though he normally barfs as of the fourth episode of BFDI, but he lost his barf in the 25th episode.
- David, Needle, Blocky, Pen, Eraser, and Tennis Ball are do not appear in this short. Woody, Bubble, and Flower also do not appear as they are canonically dead.
- The Goiky assets are from The Arena of Death.
- Pencil, Announcer, Coiny, Rocky, and Firey, all made cameos in one Inanimate Insanity episode. Pencil/Announcer in "The Arena of Death, Coiny/Announcer in "Aquatic Conflict", Rocky in "One-Shot Wonder", and Firey in "Crappy Anniversary".
- Coiny also made a cameo in the Inanimate Insanity Invitational episode "The Show Must Go On".
- The BFDI cast wasn't voiced by Cary or Michael Huang here, but Ice Cube uses recycled lines.
Errors[]
- Some of Announcer's lines are low quality. however this may be because Adam Katz at the time cannot afford the voice of "AT&T/NaturalReader Mike", so it was instead recorded.
- in the last scene, Match, Coiny are both missing their arms and teardrop's Right Arm (left onscreen) is also missing.
