Dr. Fizz is a fictional brand of soda, sold in cans or bottles, that reoccurs throughout Inanimate Insanity II and Inanimate Insanity Invitational. Test Tube's secret laboratory is hidden underneath a vending machine that sells Dr. Fizz

Inanimate Insanity II[]

Dr. Fizz is first introduced in "Tri Your Best" when Yin-Yang argues about whether to buy water or the soda from the Vending Machine.

In "Kick the Bucket", Dr. Fizz vintage bottles are shown inside Purgatory Mansion in the bar room.

In "Alternate Reality Show", the soda cans appear within the vending machine behind Taco and Microphone. Later Lightbulb accidentally activates the Time Machine Calculator while trying to add up the prices of the Dr. Fizz cans she took from Test Tube while inside her secret laboratory. Fan and Test Tube are also seen drinking it at the end of the episode while sitting on top of the vending machine.

In "Hatching the Plan", the cans of Dr. Fizz appear again in the vending machine. The machine is later taken apart and repurposed to become a rocketship, where cans of Dr. Fizz and bottles of water can be seen inside. Lightbulb additionally carries around another batch of Dr. Fizz.

In "The Overthinkers", Yin-Yang uses the Pic-Nix Tables to generate several cans of Dr. Fizz throughout the episode, eventually creating a mountain of Dr. Fizz, coined "Mount Fizz" by Yang, to cover the Elimination Button.

In "Tragedy At 60 Feet", an on-site doctor named Dr. Fizz appears after Box is severely injured.

Trivia[]

  • A physical version of Dr. Fizz was part of the menu during the BFDI x II 2019 Meetup. It used the tagline "A cherry-flavored soda. Is it better than water?", and costed $2.95 per can.
  • It is most likely based on Dr. Pepper, a cherry-flavored soft drink with a small amount of caffeine.
  • The packaging most likely resembles Coca-Cola.
