The Egg Planet is a planet in the Inanimate Insanity universe, and the home of the Light Shimmers. It was first seen in "Hatching the Plan".

The Egg Planet is a large planet in the shape of a Baby Shimmer egg, with a large ring surrounding the planet. The Prime Shimmer describes that the planet seemingly had a "shell" surrounding it, which could mean it had some sort of force field protecting it.
Coverage[]
In "Hatching the Plan", the planet is first described to Fan and Test Tube by The Prime Shimmer. Long before the events of the episode, the planet was visited by Meeple, who offered advanced technology for information about their unique source of energy. After the Shimmers refused to do business with them, an army of MePhones, seemingly led by MePhone3GS attacked the planet, breaking through their shell. The MePhones managed to steal two Shimmer Eggs from the planet with one eventually landing on Mars.
