The Rejection Portal is the transportation mode used when a contestant is eliminated in Inanimate Insanity II. It serves the same function as Fist Thingy, effectively replacing it for the second season.
It was first introduced in "Marsh on Mars" and has since been the primary mode of transportation for elimination contestants to Hotel OJ.
Appearance[]
The Rejection Portal is a vertical, circular vortex, although it can be mistaken to be elliptical as it is usually looked at side-on. It has yellow and pink on the inside and will fade away if an object enters it.
Coverage[]
The origins of the Rejection Portal are unclear, as it simply shows up in "Marsh on Mars" as the new elimination transporter. During MePhone4's trial in "Everything's A-OJ", Judge Gavel describes the origin of the portal as "a freaky portal that the defense claims just randomly opened one day", which elicits MePhone4 to simply shrug. MePhone4 is shown opening it in "Mine Your Own Business", and he seems to be able to instamtly do so just by snapping his fingers. Entering it will cause the portal to emit a distorted sound, which also distorts the screams of those sent their off-guard.
The location it leads to was also unclear until "Everything's A-OJ", where it was shown to lead to a utility closet in Hotel OJ. Near the end of said episode, it was fixed to be transported to the lobby of Hotel OJ, where the contestants would then be sorted into respective rooms by OJ.
In "You Can't Do This Forever", MePhone uses the rejection portal to teleport back to the Inanimate Island to continue the second season outside of Cabby's Library.

Trivia[]
- Toilet has knocked both Cheesy and Nickel into the portal, while MePad has kicked Box into the portal. MePhone4 has tossed Apple and pushed Fan into the portal.
- Tissues and Yin-Yang both entered into the portal incidentally
- Cherries and Trophy were knocked in by a different contestant, Yang and Knife, respectively.
- Soap, Balloon, Paintbrush, Microphone and Test Tube are the only contestants thus far to voluntarily walk through the Rejection Portal without any hassle.
- Even though Box was sent through, he can be seen in "Let 'Er R.I.P.", "Theft and Battery", "Mazed and Confused" and "Alternate Reality Show".
- However, this can attribute to his ability to travel through space and time.
- Marshmallow and Dough are the only eliminated contestant that didn't got sent to the Rejection Portal.
- In Everything's A-OJ, Suitcase was randomly eliminated by OJ, but was brought back, and Apple was eliminated.
