The Thinkers (formerly Yellow Team, later nicknamed The New Thinkers) is one of the three/two teams in Inanimate Insanity Invitational, first facing against The Pinkers and The Sinkers and now just The NEW Pinkers. It was formed in "Stranded in Paradise". They have won three challenges, and one of the former members is still competing so far. In "The Shame of the Name", the name was changed from Yellow Team to The Thinkers.

The team formerly consisted of OJ, Paintbrush, Yin-Yang, The Floor, Silver Spoon, and Candle. As of the rearrangement of teams, it consisted of Yin-Yang, The Floor, Candle, Goo, Clover, and Nickel.

During the merge, the team became an alliance consisting of Yin-Yang, Paintbrush, Silver Spoon, The Floor, Candle, and Cabby (who was never in the original Thinkers nor the NEW Thinkers), dubbed The New Old Thinkers. Silver Spoon and Candle both switched sides to the Looney Balloonies, eliminating The Floor in the process. Balloon later flipped on his alliance, joining The New Old Thinkers. However, he later flipped on the alliance and eliminated Yin-Yang, which means the alliance technically dissolved, as Cabby was the sole member remaining.

Trivia[]

This team was the best-performing team until The Overthinkers.
The Thinkers are the second yellow team, the first being The Bright Lights.
Candle was the only female in the team until Clover joined during the team rearrangement.
- Coincidentally, both of their names start with a C.
The original Thinkers is the only team where every original member's name starts with a different letter.
- It's also the only team out of which there isn't a single member whose name starts with a B.
The original Thinkers are very similar to Team Amazon in Total Drama World Tour, being a team dominant in one gender that also has the least losses of all the teams.
This is the first team Paintbrush has been on without Apple, Lightbulb, and Marshmallow.
All original male members' full names have two words (Orange Juice, Silver Spoon, The Floor), with the possible exception of Yin-Yang.
This team is the only team in Inanimate Insanity Invitational to not have had a member rejoin.
