So I'm gonna put the million dollars towards something for all of us.

OJ (Journey Through Memory Lane, Part 2)
This article has been featured.

Hotel OJ is what OJ spent his million dollar prize on. It is a large orange-colored hotel resembling the shape of OJ. It is the place where the eliminated contestants get sent to during Inanimate Insanity II.

In "Through No Choice of Your Own", the Hotel was entirely deleted due to Me, the source of MeLife, being deactivated by Toilet. While not shown, it is likely that the hotel had to be rebuilt after the events of "Objects in Mirror".

Appearance[]

2013[]

The hotel has 8 floors. The first floor has a front door and two windows. Most of the floors have 5 windows on the front, with the sixth floor having 4, and the top floor having 3 large windows. There is also a vertical sign on the side of the building which reads "HOTEL OJ".

2024[]

The hotel is now colored darker, and it only has 6 floors, with 3 large windows each. The 2 windows at the front of the first floor are also no longer rounded.

Coverage[]

In "Breaking The Ice", the hotel is first seen when OJ is walking towards it with groceries. He enters the hotel, where everyone is partying, with the exclusion of Bow, Taco, and Balloon, who continues to sneak into the hotel and vandalize with graffiti. Later, MePhone4's airplane crashes into Hotel OJ, creating a huge hole in the side, causing OJ to scream and shatter. As the episode continues, the hotel is seen many times in the background, still with the vacant airplane lodged in the side. At the end of the episode, Paper is revealed to have fixed the windows, which have been broken by the plane crash. One window, however, is broken once again by a dodgeball.

Pepper was shown to be in Hotel OJ in the Episode 6 Teaser Trailer. She can be seen saying that she is making her own episode, however, Fan says that she isn't.

In "Everything's A-OJ", Pepper, Salt and Bomb were in a hot tub. All the eliminated contestants inside the closet in the hotel, it was revealed that MePhone4 put them there, OJ sued him for this insolence. All the remaining contestants had to clean it. Test Tube, Fan, Apple, Marshmallow, Lightbulb (because she shattered) and the eliminated contestants didn't clean it. Everyone thought it was a challenge, but OJ revealed that it wasn't. All the eliminated contestants went to the hotel after elimination, and all future eliminated contestants would go to the hotel instead of the closet.

In "Truth or Flare", Taco and MePad are behind the hotel. Taco looks at Microphone through the window, saddened by her loss. The hotel later appears for a few seconds during Taco's Tirade.

In "The Reality of the Situation", there is another party at the hotel, called the Hotel OJ Party (HOP/HOJP) in celebration of Suitcase and Knife being the final two contestants of Inanimate Insanity II. Nearly all season one and two contestants are present, as well as some Invitational newbies. Here, OJ, Pickle, and Nickel are all deleted by MePhoneX.

In "Through No Choice of Your Own", the hotel is compromised by Steve Cobs taking control of MePhoneX. The hotel is later deleted by the deactivation of Me.

In "Objects in Mirror", the hotel appears inside of MeAfterlife in front of OJ.

Trivia[]

  • There is currently a web comic on the II website, named "Inanimate Comics". It most likely is about hotel OJ. You can find it here.
  • In a deleted analysis video done by Joseph H, he calculated Hotel OJ to cost $2,995,984 in theory, nearly triple the amount of OJ's prize. However, upon being corrected by Adam Katz as to the estimated size of the characters on Inanimate Insanity, the revised price was lowered to just under $190,000, well under OJ's million-dollar prize.
  • Match and Firey's assets make cameos inside the hotel. Apple uses Match's asset to burn Marshmallow, and the flame looks like Firey.
