"I Am Chocolate!" is the 10th episode of Inanimate Insanity Invitational and the 42nd episode overall. It was released on October 29, 2022.
Synopsis[]
At long last, five eliminated contestants. One will rejoin. This time, while the contestants get to feast on sweets, we catch up with the long-exiled contestants trapped on the terrifying Indefinite Island. These former players are ready to risk everything to return to the game. What they may not know is that catching the slightest error may make the difference between victory and devastation.
Plot[]
The nine remaining contestants stare in awe at something off-screen, surprised that “it” had come back. MePhone stands next to the Pic-Nix Table, which has a large assortment of sweets sitting on it. MePhone introduces them to the formerly-scrapped treat tasting challenge, which was now a reward for the contestants due to reaching the merge. Silver Spoon approaches Test Tube and Bot, wanting to talk with the group. Bot shakes their head in response, which Silver says is impolite. Bot proceeds to shake their head and blink in response, which annoys Silver to the point of leaving. Test Tube tells Paintbrush that she had given Bot a lot of voices to choose from, and they had picked a new one which was processing. Balloon approaches Nickel, who turns his head away in response. Nickel tells him that his team only thought he was cool because Clover had given him luck, and didn’t want to deal with anyone acting like they liked him. Balloon tells him he was lucky to have him talking to him, and Nickel laughs in response.
MePhone watches the contestants chat and eat together. The Floor then mentions how fast the game was going by, which causes MePhone to panic. However, he is interrupt by an unknown caller. MePhone reluctantly answers it, with Walkie-Talkie asking if he was MePhone. MePhone asks if she was affiliated with Meeple Inc., to which she responds that she was just someone with a big idea, asking if he wanted to keep his game going a bit longer.
Over on Indefinite Island, Tea Kettle asks Walkie what she had meant by “it’s almost time”, with Cabby assuming it meant a rejoin. Blueberry hopes that they would all be an explosion instead. Walkie starts to count down in a monotone voice from 10, which leads Goo to believe that they would actually explode. The eliminated Sinkers huddle up. Cabby flinches when the timer hits 0, but instead of an explosion, MePhone, Paintbrush and Candle appear on the island. MePhone tells the eliminated contestants that they had a chance to rejoin the game, and explained the challenge: The eliminateds would have to go through a three-part race, first running across a balance beam, then using rocks to knock down a bag, and using the letter blocks inside of that bag to spell out a “secret word”. The first person to stack the secret word correctly would rejoin the game. Tea Kettle is upset over how much they had to do while the current players just sat around. MePhone tells her that he left them with hard work. Over at the Pic-Nix Table, the contestants watch as Yin-Yang chugs an entire container of chocolate syrup.
Challenge[]
Paintbrush asks what they had been brought along for, with MePhone saying that they were the key to the most important part of the day. All of the contestants line up, and begin the race. Lifering and Tea Kettle run across the beams, while Cabby balances her wheels to skid across. Blueberry gets part way through his beam before laying down, getting dizzy. Lifering and Cabby miss multiple shots with their rocks. Tea Kettle knocks her bag down on the first try, and helps Lifering by knocking down his bag as well. Cabby complains about how that wasn’t fair, and decides to ram into her pole, which knocks her bag down. Goo tries to ask Cabby to help him get his stack, but she rolls past him. Goo tries to fling himself to knock his poll down, but ends up sticking to it. Lifering and Tea Kettle unbag their letter blocks, devising a strategy to help both of their chances of rejoining. Cabby pulls out a file on 14 letter words, which Lifering exclaims is the only time that file wouldn’t be useful.
Candle talks to Paintbrush about how they seemed happy to participate. Paintbrush agrees saying it was just what they needed, and that they felt like they had been floating since the team-swap. Candle figures that following the merge, they had reflected on what they wanted to change, not being able to guide the Thinkers anymore, as well as disliking the NEW Pinkers, and wanting to play with The Thinkers and Test Tube. Paintbrush cuts her off, being slightly annoyed about how easily readable they seemed to be. Candle apologizes in response. Goo tries to motivate Blueberry, who had just arrived at the end of the balance beams. Blueberry attempts to lift his leg up, but puts it down. He says that the other contestants were already at the end, and there was no point in trying. Cabby tries to figure out what word the secret word could be, using the file to tally off words alphabetically. Tea Kettle brings Lifering coconut-soufflé to help “power him”. Cabby finishes the listed words, thinking of the possibility that MePhone had given them a fake word. Lifering assembles the word “FAST-HORSEMAN” and “N-R”, and Tea Kettle assembles “MANHATERS”, with Lifering saying that they “SNORF”. Cabby decides to try something new.
Goo slowly climbs up his pole when Cabby knocks his back down, hoping to get an idea of what to do out of him. Goo tells Blueberry that he could do anything he puts his mind to. Cabby panics about possibly missing a key detail, potentially “wasting” her files. Goo tries to comfort her, saying that not even a computer is always perfect. Cabby flashes back to when MePhone had said he gave Walkie exact instructions for the challenge, now realizing that they could be a spelling error. Blueberry thinks about the words that Goo had told him, now determined to prove him wrong. Tea Kettle brings Lifering more food, which leads Lifering to attempt to convince her to not only help him and work for a chance to rejoin too. Cabby and Tea Kettle discuss what the word could be. Tea Kettle wonders if it could be a shorter word with a few added letters. Cabby realizes that the word was “TRANSFORMATION”, accidentally yelling it for everyone to hear. Everybody immediately rushes to their stations. Blueberry arrives with the group, much to Goo’s surprise. Blueberry tells him that he had come to prove that Goo was wrong when he said he could do anything, while everyone finishes stacking.
MePhone announces that the challenge was over, and either Blueberry, Tea Kettle, or Cabby had correctly spelt the misspelling of “TRANSFORMATION”. Candle asks him how he had misspelled the word, with MePhone saying he was a computer on vacation. MePhone announces that the rejoining contestant was: Cabby! Cabby joyfully rolls over to MePhone, excited that they had rejoined the game. Paintbrush angrily grabs MePhone asking what they had been brought along for. He remembers after a second, and pulls out the Immunity Cookie. MePhone tells them he wanted Paintbrush to do the “head-fire-thing” to heat it up. Paintbrush gets very angry for a brief second, and hands the cookie to Candle, who heats it up with her flame. Cabby grabs the cookie, which turns her body into a sleek gold color. The rest of the eliminated contestants cheer her on, saying that they would be rooting for her. Cabby doesn’t believe she deserved all of that, but Tea Kettle tells her they all deserve support.
Cabby arrives back on Paradise, much to the shock of the current contestants. MePhone explains to them that she had won the rejoin challenge, and that before the season ended, there would be one more rejoin. He also adds that she would be safe from tonight’s elimination, due to having the Immunity Cookie. Cabby looks over at a concerned Test Tube, and rolls away. Nickel and Balloon regroup with Test Tube and Bot. Test Tube asks them if they could join her side, knowing that Cabby would probably be voting against her. Paintbrush walks over to the remaining members of their old team. Yin-Yang tells them about the idea of bringing back the original Thinkers, including Cabby. Silver tells Cabby he didn’t approve of her joining their group. Cabby, however, offers him the Immunity Cookie to keep him on her side. Silver gleefully accepts it. Bot grabs Paintbrush to bring them over to Test Tube’s new alliance. Test Tube is annoyed over how Cabby had given up her immunity to Silver, saying she had to go next. Balloon tries to protest saying she had just gotten back, but Test Tube says that it was what needed to happen.
Paintbrush regroups with their new alliance and watches Silver storm off after being owned by Cabby. Candle asks Paintbrush whether they should vote with or against her, with Paintbrush being unsure of which side “felt like home”. Candle says she would follow their lead.
Elimination[]
MePhone announces that Yin-Yang had won the Immunity Vote for the 4th time, with Yin thanking the viewers. MePhone then starts reading the votes. Cabby and Test Tube both receive 4 votes, with 1 vote for Nickel, before the final vote is read. The 10th eliminated contestant is revealed to be Test Tube. Cabby high-fives Yin-Yang, saying the group “Thinkers Forever!” clause. Cabby later approaches Test Tube as she walks onto the beach. She apologizes for her elimination happening the way it did, commending her on her game. Test Tube shakes her hand and says she had no hard feelings, much to Cabby’s surprise. Paintbrush runs up to Test Tube, sorry for her elimination. Test Tube respects Paintbrush for making a new family in the season, and was able to tell that they didn’t vote for her. She tells Cabby that all she had done was make people scared of her. Bot walks up to Paintbrush and Test Tube, ready to show off their new voice. They reveal their new voice, which causes Test Tube to smile. Bot thought that they would be more excited about their voice, but had already been given so much by Test Tube. She tells them that all they saw and heard now was them, before getting shot into the sky by the Fist Thingy. MePhone tells the viewers to stay tuned to see how the two new alliances face-off next time.

- There are only 4 veteran contestants left in Inanimate Insanity Invitational.
- Yin-Yang is the only Season 2 debuter left.
- There are only 2 members of The original Pinkers, being Bot and Cabby.
- This is the first rejoin since Season 1.
- Coincidentally, the last rejoin also happened in a tenth episode in Double Digit Desert.
- The incorrectly spelled words are:
- Blueberry: tramsfarshonen
- Tea Kettle: transformashen
- Cabby: transfermashon
- This reveals that the Inanimate Insanity cast sometimes have shoes because Blueberry said he can't tie his shoes.
- This was the first episode where Taylor Grodin did not fully finish alongside the creators, due to his firing.
- In this episode, Balloon is the only contestant to make only one confessional only in the Calm-Down Cabana. This only took him 16 words to speak in his confessional.
- This was the first episode in which a character turned golden (Those being Cabby and Silver Spoon).
- This episode is the first episode to feature Immunity Cookies and is the first episode in Season 3 to give someone immunity outside of the votes.
- In a livestream, Justin Chapman confirmed that the process of rewriting and revising the episode 10 script was done in under 48 hours.
- Three veteran contestants reached the merge for the first time: Balloon, Nickel, and Yin-Yang.
Goofs[]
- Bot is saying 'go' with the other contestants at 3:55, even though their voice is not fully processed. But they might have been lip-syncing.
