- In Justin Chapman (VolcanoClaw)'s audition, some of the characters he auditioned for sound like characters from Battle for Dream Island or the Inanimate Insanity series that he voiced later on:
- Steamy sounds like Paper but with a British accent.
- Rusty Coin sounds like the audition version of Bomb, but with a North Jersian accent.
- In the 24th episode of BFDI, Yellow Face sounds like the audition version of OJ.
- This would also be the case for Goo in Inanimate Insanity Invitational.
- Some of the voice actors didn't make it as an actual voice actor.
- Krazyjordan7, Carraid73, and Carraid73Bridgette did not make it into the actual series.
- Ultimately, OJ's role in VolcanoClaw and Carraid73's auditions was replaced by Taylor Grodin until he got fired from the show staff on August 2022.
- VolcanoClaw and Krazyjordan7's auditions for Salt and Marshmallow were replaced by Crasi4tunes and AmandaRockz85 (later replaced by Adam).
- VolcanoClaw’s role for Bomb in the audition was replaced by Max Weissman.
