Inanimate Insanity II[]
"Tri Your Best"[]
Box is stuck at the bottom of the swimming pool when Lifering blows his whistle, announcing that there is a sinker. Lifering jumps in the pool and saves Box, setting him out of the pool. After Nickel exclaims that Box is alive, Cheesy then asks Lifering if he really just sits up there all day, to which Lifering replies that it's his job. Cheesy then makes a pun, stating that Lifering deserves a round of applause, though Lifering is not amused.
Inanimate Insanity Invitational[]
"Stranded In Paradise"[]
Lifering's first appearance of the season is when he is revealed behind a curtain with all of the other new contestants.
When all of the contestants are splattered with paint bombs, Lifering asks if everyone's okay, adding that he can perform CPR. He joins the Blue Team with Nickel, Balloon, Blueberry, Box, and Tea Kettle.
When the challenge is to dive off of a sixty foot cliff into a pipe, Lifering asks if everyone has completed their required diving courses, and that proper form is crucial with such heights. When preparing to dive off of the cliff, Lifering demonstrates proper diving formation to his team: back 90 degrees and arms straight. Unfortunately, he misses the pipe, landing in the quicksand at the bottom of the cliff.
Lifering's team encounters a major problem when he realizes he cannot sink into the quicksand and come back out on top, as not sinking is his entire purpose. He tells his team that they're going to have to weigh him down, and Balloon, Nickel, and Tea Kettle come down to help. Later on, Lifering apologizes for this, but points out that he's industry grade. When Blueberry declines to jump down and help weigh him down, Lifering attempts to motivate him with a pep talk. Lifering tells Blueberry that deep down, he knows he's a fighter. Lifering tells him that if he can channel his energy into passion, then there's nothing he can't do. Unfortunately, Blueberry does not listen to him, and Lifering's team loses the challenge.
At the elimination, MePhone4 puts everyone on the Blue Team down, including Lifering for "sinking the team" with his inability to sink. Lifering admits that his diving form could have been stronger, to which Tea Kettle replies that's not what he's talking about. Lifering narrowly avoids elimination when Blueberry is eliminated, and he thanks his team, calling them the real lifesavers.
"The Shame of the Name"[]
The challenge is for each of the teams to come up with a new name.
Lifering takes initiative, apologizing for sinking his team last challenge, but he wants to make it up to the team. He does so by having a good team name "ready to fire". When he states that he hopes his team is up for a little humility, Nickel sarcastically remarks that the team can't dare to make fun of themselves, but Lifering takes this completely seriously, apologizing and not having realized Nickel apparently felt strongly about it.
After being told to get on with it, Lifering announces the new team name: The Sinkers. Receiving approval from Nickel and Balloon, Lifering excitedly talks on about reclaiming the name and getting back the power over it. He then asks Tea Kettle's opinion, who pretends to like it. Nickel then points out Box's input on the name wasn't heard yet, and when the team looks to Box, Lifering states that he's a tough nut.
When the teams announce their names to MePhone4, The Thinkers announce their name first, having successfully one-upped Lifering's team name. Though Lifering is nervous, Nickel gives him a reassuring nod, and he announces the name "The Sinkers" to MePhone.
"Snapshot Showdown"[]
The challenge is to take embarrassing photos of the other teams. Immediately after the 24 hour challenge begins, everyone races for the camera shelf, including Nickel. However, Lifering, worried, reaches for him. Soon after, Lifering picks him up and carries him away before he can get a camera.
Lifering takes his entire team behind a bush to hide away. Balloon asks him what gives, since they can't win if they can't take pictures. Lifering answers that they can't lose either if the others can't take pictures of them. Lifering explains that if they all hide, the two teams will have no choice but to focus on each other, and that once the other teams get tired, then they can go in for the kill. Tea Kettle is interested in the idea, but Nickel asks what they'll do in the meantime, sarcastically remarking that they could huddle up and hide under a raft. Lifering then tells Nickel to stop reading his mind, pulling out a large, inflated raft.
Bot and Goo slowly come over to the team, and Lifering commands everyone to take cover, putting the raft over his team. Bot interprets this as an eight-legged monster, but because that's the exact number of legs it takes to frighten them, they scream "retreat" and both them and Goo get away. Lifering then chuckles, stating he knew that idea would float. Soon after, however, he realizes both his trusty safety kit and untrusty Nickel have disappeared.
Later on, during sunset, Balloon wonders where Nickel is, and suggests looking for him. Lifering snaps at Balloon, asserting that no one leaves the raft. Tea Kettle then suggests that they can use raft monster to scare the other teams once they're all tuckered out, and Lifering calls the plan brilliant. Lifering then confidently exclaims that his team has this [challenge] in the bag, though he wishes his bag was here to see it.
The Sinkers lose the challenge due to a cursed photo of front-facing Tea Kettle. During the elimination, MePhone4 points out that the team is worst two out of three in terms of challenges, and Lifering states that he doesn't think anyone's at fault. Nickel and Lifering initially tie at 2 votes for elimination, and the tiebreaker vote comes down to Box, who originally voted for Balloon. When Balloon questions why Box would vote for him or Nickel, Lifering points out that they are always talking for him, to which Nickel starts talking for Box and concluding that he's going to vote for Lifering now. Growing more desperate, Lifering points out to Box that he saved his life once, to which Nickel argues that Lifering is supposed to save lives because it's the right thing to do, not for something in return.
After Box changes his vote, Lifering is eliminated with 3 votes. He is disappointed, but he leaves the team with one more lesson, "in proper flying formation." He spreads his arms out to his sides, then he gets punched by the Fist Thingy.
Lifering lands on Indefinite Island, and Blueberry tries to get him to leave immediately, but Walkie-Talkie states that he can stay before Blueberry interrupts her. Soon after, Lifering's safety kit lands on the island, with a note from Nickel stating he wanted to give it back, he guesses. Lifering says that it's just what he needed to feel at home, and he agrees to stay.
"Tragedy At 60 Feet"[]
MePhone points out that Box isn't breathing anymore and asks if anyone knows CPR. On Indefinite Island, Lifering says he feels "extremely needed".
"Title TBD"[]
Lifering, along the other eliminated contestants on Indefinite Island, appear briefly in the episode's stinger. Walkie-Talkie turns on and ominously tells them "it's almost time" surprising them.
"I Am Chocolate!"[]
The eliminated contestants are confused by Walkie-Talkie vaguely telling them, "It's almost time." Blueberry suggests that they all have the chance to be in an explosion, which Cabby disagrees with, and Lifering defensively tells her to quit putting the Sinkers down. He suggests that maybe they WILL explode, but gently tells Blueberry right after that they probably won't. Walkie-Talkie then starts ominously counting down, and Lifering screams. Frantically, he tells his teammates to remember the protocol, ordering Tea Kettle to "initiate familial holds." Tea Kettle holds him and Blueberry tight, and the three of them tremble in place until Walkie-Talkie gets to zero.
Instead of everyone exploring, MePhone4 shows up with Paintbrush and Candle. Lifering, along with Tea Kettle and Goo, sighs in relief. MePhone4 announces that the eliminated contestants will be competing in a three stage rejoin challenge. The first challenge is to run across a balance beam, and Lifering heartily runs just behind Tea Kettle. When Blueberry sits down at the beginning of his beam, Lifering tries to encourage him to keep it moving, to no avail.
The second stage of the challenge is to throw a rock at a bag on top of a tall pole in order to knock it off. Lifering and Cabby miss their first attempts at hitting their bags, but Tea Kettle gets hers. Impressed, Lifering asks her how she did that, to which Tea Kettle tells him to watch and learn, knocking his bag off for him. Catching the bag, Lifering thanks Tea Kettle.
The third and final stage of the challenge is to take the 14 letter blocks out of the bag and spell a secret word. Whilst Lifering dumps his blocks out of his bag, Tea Kettle suggests he tries words that start with the first half of the alphabet whilst she tries words that start with the second half. Mockingly, Cabby wishes them good luck without a list of 14 letter words, as she pulls out a file that is exactly that. Lifering screams and points at the file, saying it's the one time that file's not useless. Lifering tells Tea Kettle to hurry as he begins to rush stacking blocks himself.
As they work on stacking the blocks, Tea Kettle makes coconut-soufflé and gives it to Lifering, confident that he's the one rejoining the game. He asks about herself, but before she responds, Cabby grunts in frustration. Whilst she tries to reason the answer out, Lifering spells "fast-horseman" with an extra N and R. He then blurts out "fast-horsemanner" despite not having the letters to spell that correctly. Tea Kettle rearranges his letter blocks to spell out "manhaters" and Lifering enthusiastically uses the remaining letters to say that they "snorf". Some time later, Lifering tells Tea Kettle that the two of them can still work together whilst Tea Kettle makes progress at her station. Nearby, Cabby realizes that Walkie-Talkie took MePhone's possibly imperfect directions verbatim, hence there's room for error on the secret word. Lifering questions if she means a spelling error, but she snaps at him, telling him not to steal ideas. Afterwards, Tea Kettle makes Lifering coconut-soufflé deluxe. Lifering abruptly grips Tea Kettle, telling her she's the smartest, strongest, best player out here. He says he's not going to allow her to waste another second helping him when he believes no one is more likely to win upon returning than her. Tea Kettle express she'd feel guilty taking the opportunity away from him, but he simply yells that there's no time for feelings, and that they need to find misspellings. Soon after, Cabby realizes that the secret word is "transformation" and blurts it out to all the other competitors. Everyone rushes to spell the misspelling of the word before they run out of time. Lifering notices Tea Kettle missing the top letter block of her word, and he tosses his "T" letter block on top of her stack right before the air horn.
Despite Lifering's and Tea Kettle's efforts, Cabby ends up winning the challenge. Much to her surprise, they and Goo applaud and cheer for her regardless. Encouragingly, Lifering tells her to win for the Indefinite Islanders.
