LOONEY BALLOONIES!!!

Bot, Nickel, and Balloon

The Looney Balloonies is an alliance in Inanimate Insanity Invitational, originally formed by Test Tube to eliminate Cabby after the merge began, originally consisting of Test Tube, Bot, Balloon, and Nickel.

Following Test Tube's elimination, the trio officially coined the name "Looney Balloonies". In Pesty Besties, Candle and Silver Spoon switched alliances, making them new members of the group. In Friend or Froze, Balloon betrayed the alliance, leading Candle to be eliminated. In the following episode, Balloon, Nickel and Bot were forced into a tie-breaker due to the formers disagreement, which led to Bot being eliminated as well. Blueberry joined the alliance after rejoining the game, leaving the group with three members left.

By "The Great Bluish Bake Off," the alliance had disbanded due to Blueberry's threat status, with Silver Spoon and Nickel both voting against each other for the remainder of the game.

In the end, despite triumphing over their Rivals, the alliance still failed to produce the winner of the season as both Balloon and Silver Spoon lost to Cabby.

Coverage[]

In "I Am Chocolate!", since Cabby rejoined, Test Tube gathered up Balloon, Nickel and Bot to Eliminate Cabby, although this proves unsuccessful due to the larger the original thinkers alliance, which meant Test Tube was eliminated.

In "Pesty Besties" the episode starts off with the alliance in the Jail Cell from "Try Not To Laugh Challenge", where Balloon is trying to get a theme song for the alliance asking for both of Bot's and Nickel's theme songs which they respond with. Nickel asks for an update about building back their numbers in Operation 7 of sway Paintbrush they said "maybe one day.", to which all 3 of them respond with "Go Looney Balloonies"! Implying the first instance of the alliance's name. After everyone receives their Inani-Mates, Balloon asks for a report on their Inani-Mates, where they all respond positively. Then Balloon recommends they train just one pet so they have one member with immunity, and Bot recommends Quacky (Balloon's Inani-Mate) should go because they don't want N-slash-A (their Inani-Mate) getting hurt out there, and Nickel Agrees. At the start of the competition Balloon and Bot's Inani-Mates mysteriously go missing but Nickel Jr. is still there. Nickel goes and tries to persuade Silver Spoon to join their alliance by pretending their alliance didn't have a leader. The Floor mentions the alliance name to Nickel when Nickel Jr. and Tootsie Wootsie are versing each other. Nickel Jr. defeats Tootsie Wootsie and since it was the finale of the competition Nickel is granted immunity. Then Balloon realized that only confetti was left when Quacky and N-slash-A went missing, which made Nickel realize Nickel Jr. murdered them. He yells at Nickel Jr, which makes Nickel Jr. self-destruct. after the competition The Looney Balloonies are back in the jail cell when Silver Spoon comes in, deciding to join their alliance. While Balloon is hesitant to let Silver in and let him start making all the decisions, Nickel explains that Silver Spoon isn't actually the leader and he just got him to get someone else in their alliance. Silver appoints Nickel as second-in-command, Bot as third-in-command, and after some hesitation, says to Balloon that there "always has to be someone at the bottom", which angers Balloon. and Silver Spoon recommends The Floor as he is better with them than against them. Then Candle asks for Silver Spoon. At the elimination, it's clear that the Looney Balloonies voted for The Floor, and he is eliminated. Candle reveals she has switched sides, joining their alliance.

In "Home Is Where the Heart Is", after Bot makes a sarcastic remark to Nickel, Nickel retorts after asking what name they're going by now, to which they say they're still workshopping it. They later come out using a drawing they'd made of their true self and new name, Bot, after winning the episode's challenge and gaining immunity. The alliance worked together to vote out Paintbrush, although Bot later says they couldn't bring themself to do the same, as Paintbrush had been a supportive ally and friend to them.

In "Friend or Froze". Nickel and Balloon work together and help Bot achieve their dream look using paint, then Nickel has Bot promise to stick with them in the vote from now on. Nickel asks if anyone has any other ideas, and Balloon is about to speak up when Silver Spoon interrupts him, only to be pulled back down into a bush by Candle. He tells her about how the three of them want to move through the game without the two of them, to which Candle sarcastically remarks that the final three doesn't typically include five people. Silver begins to panic, wondering if they could flip on the Looney Balloonies again, and Candle calms him down using her crystal and tuning fork. They start to scheme, noticing that Nickel and Balloon have a history together and whether they can use it against them. After MePhone4 brings out the Immunity Milk and presents it to Yin-Yang, Cabby tries to give her approval for them to have it, but Silver interrupts her and intimidates her, saying that she'd be the only other target if she did so. He continues his intimidation, asking her for a file and telling her he'll convince the alliance to vote out Yin-Yang instead of her if she does, to which she reluctantly obliges. At the start of the challenge, Balloon suggests working together to win, but Silver and Candle just jump off the cliff together without them. Balloon remarks that the two of them are self-serving and selfish. Later on, Nickel notices that he's feeling down, to which he asks if he's okay. Balloon brings up how Candle and Silver never listen to him and turn on them, and how he's starting to worry that Nickel and Bot will do the same. Nickel reassures him, saying he's not going anywhere. Bot gets the idea to use their extendable legs to make a bridge and help them win the challenge. They say it's exactly what Nickel had hoped, to which he realizes that his luck is still affecting him. Candle asks Silver Spoon if he managed to get the file from Cabby, and they review Baseball's file. They remark that Nickel and Baseball had been separated, seemingly by Balloon's fault. After the other three make it to the glacier, Silver immediately kicks Balloon off. Nickel remarks that they didn't hesitate to turn on him at all, and Candle states that they're just trying to protect him. Bot tries to kick all of them off, securing their victory, but Candle catches him and suggests working together. After more struggle, Nickel kicks Bot off, eliminating them from the challenge. Candle brings up Baseball directly to Nickel, saying that they know betrayal better than any of them, blaming Balloon for Nickel's season 2 alliance's falling out. Nickel says that he listens to Balloon in hopes that this time, things will be different, but Candle asks if he's willing to bank his entire game on that. She says that Balloon had voted him out and severed him from Baseball. He says they're right, stating that none of his relationships in the game are even real due to his luck giving him everything he wants. He wishes that his luck was gone. Just as he says that, Yin-Yang, who had been throwing dirt at The Floor and the wall he had made for the challenge, knocks the wall down. It falls through the pipe, falling onto Nickel and killing him, as well as sending Candle and Silver into the surrounding water. Balloon wins the challenge, as he's still floating in the air from Silver's kick and had never touched the water. Cabby and Yin-Yang reveal their plan, saying that either one of them could receive the Immunity Milk in the vote, making them panic. Nickel suggests to give Balloon's immunity cookie, to which the latter reluctantly obliges. Bot realizes that if they just split their votes on the two of them, they could either just eliminate one or force a tie, sealing their plan for the vote that night.

At the elimination, it's revealed that Candle was the one being sent off. Balloon reveals that he was flipping on the alliance, telling Nickel he had heard everything he had said about their relationship in the game, saying it wasn't real. Balloon says that no matter what he does, Nickel just can't, or won't, move on from what happened in the past and his view of him as "helpless Balloon". Nickel tries to retort, trying to say that giving the cookie to Silver was to make them feel comfortable. Balloon argues that Nickel never tries to make him comfortable. After Candle says that this is an outcome Nickel didn't want, he then realizes that his luck is gone, and Balloon remarks that now because of that, they know where they stand, without his luck in the way of their relationship. Balloon walks away, and Candle is then eliminated from the game.
