Announcer[]

We had to sell it because of budget cuts.

—Announcer, several occassions
The Announcer is the host of Battle for Dream Island and the secret host for Battle for Dream Island Again who appeared in "The Arena Of Death". Although he did not speak, Nickel was seen scorning him in reference to him not joining BFDI during the debut join. In the slideshow in "Aquatic Conflict", the Announcer is also pictured trespassing Area 51 with MePhone4.

He later makes non-canonical appearances in shorts for the BFDI X II meetups for 2022 and 2023.

Pencil[]

OMG! That was like mean, jerk!

The Arena of Death

Main article: Pencil

Pencil is a contestant in all 5 seasons of BFDI, and made a cameo in The Arena of Death. She would later make non-canon cameos during the 2022 BFDI x II Meetup and during the 2024 Tour. Nonexisty[]

No Problem

—Nonexisty, to Nickel
Nonexisty is a recommended character on Battle for Dream Island who appeared in "One-Shot Wonder". After Nickel explains to Knife how he escaped the LOL, he turns and thanks Nonexisty, who appears as a shadow, and replies with a confident "no problem".

Although Nonexisty can speak and has a shadow on Inanimate Insanity, he cannot speak on Battle for Dream Island, since he is literally non-existent and apparently tastes like peanut butter, as said by Firey.

His voice actor was Justin Chapman[1].

Rocky[]

Bomb Good Luck Cheesy

"Wanna drink this purple stuff I found?" Bomb, "Inanimate Insanity SEASON 4!?"

Mmmhmmm!

—Rocky, several occasions in BFDIA, TPOT, and BFB 14
Rocky is a contestant on Battle for Dream Island who appeared in "One-Shot Wonder". He makes a non-speaking cameo appearance during the slingshot challenge and acts merely as an obstacle. Pickle and Lightbulb trip over him on different occasions, causing Pickle to let go of Salt's slingshot too early and have her fall down the gorge, as well as causing Lightbulb to shatter. Rocky makes a non-canonical appearance for the animatic short "Inanimate Insanity & BFDI Meet Up!".

Cloudy[]

Cloudy (or Cloud in Inanimate Insanity (Season 1 Remastered)) is a recommended character on Battle for Dream Island and a former TPOT contestant. An alternative version of him appeared in "The Stacker". As Salt and Pepper play Frisbee, Pepper throws a Frisbee after telling Salt to go long, but it hits him, who whines in pain.

Coiny[]

Coiny is a contestant on Battle For Dream Island. Although he never actually appears, Coiny can be seen with Nickel in the photographs on Aquatic Conflict. during the slideshow.

This is also a reference to The Coin Bros, made by Adam Katz as a project before II.

Coiny also makes an appearance in the third episode of Fan's Fantastic Features, Nickel For Your Thoughts.

Paintbrush may have also been referring to Coiny when they ask Silver Spoon "What about a penny?" in Try Not To Laugh Challenge when he calls Nickel "the embodiment of the most meager form of wealth", although it has been proven that Coiny isn't actually a penny.

Coiny makes a cameo appearance in The Show Must Go On, with the voice line "Thanks Balloon, I'm so glad we connected! Your social game sure is strong!". He is voiced by Michael Huang, who also voices him in Battle for Dream Island.

Firey[]

Firey is a contestant on Battle for Dream Island who appeared in "Crappy Anniversary". While OJ was trying to catch his cake, Firey swooped in and caught it, stating he can catch anything. It is confirmed during LorenTzel and Taylor's Season 1 rewatch stream that Firey appears here because Taylor asked Michael Huang (Firey's voice actor) for a "catching sound effect" for the elimination, and Michael sent the voice clip of Firey instead of an actual catching sound. Ironically, Firey ended up snatching the cake of the first season's (then) future winner, similar to him.

He was voiced by Michael Huang.

Red and Yellow (latter formerly named Chuck) are some of the main characters of the Angry Birds series, appearing in "One-Shot Wonder" as the example of the contestant during the challenge, where Chuck was flung from the slingshot and fell down the gorge.
