Salt labeled The Drama Queen is a female contestant on Inanimate Insanity.
In the first season, despite not often helping in challenges, being on the more successful Team Chickenleg with her Best Condiment Friend Forever (BCFF), Pepper, helped her progress in the game. When Pepper was eliminated, Salt began to obsess over OJ, leading to her elimination in "Aquatic Conflict" with 92 votes, alongside Paintbrush.
In Inanimate Insanity II, Salt is a supporting character who did not compete, but appeared every so often. She had a major role in "Alternate Reality Show", with her and Pepper hosting Inanimate Insanity Infinity in an alternate timeline.
She appears again in Inanimate Insanity IV.
She is voiced by Casey Landman.
Appearance[]
Salt is a white shaker with a silver cap, The holes on her cap form a star shape, which is similar to Pepper.
Changes[]
Debut
- She is crudely drawn.
II1 3-II1 15[]
- She now has a shine at the bottom of her body
II1 16-II2 1[]
- Her shading is now moved to the left side
- Her shine is misplaced on the left side with the shading.
II2 7[]
- Her body outline is now dark grey
- Her shine is removed
2017[]
- Her cap now has a curve-like shape shade.
II2 16-18[]
- Her cap now has shining
- Her outline on her body is slightly darker
II4[]
- Her cap shape is slightly tweaked
- She now has updated shading to fit the II4 artstyle.
Personality[]
Salt is very similar to her close friend Pepper, the two looking very similar to each other, having nearly the same voice and personality, and liking the same things. Salt is a bit different from Pepper, as she seems to be more self-centered and arrogant, rather than caring for her BCFF as much. After showing a love interest in OJ, she begins to mess up plans and not follow instructions.
Salt mostly wants attention from OJ, always trying to impress him to the point in the The Snowdown, Salt was holding a mistletoe just for OJ to kiss her. OJ feels uncomfortable to her, trying to avoid her for the rest of the season. Salt also shows a lazy side too, her lack of energy to do an challenge can cost her team by avoiding doing a challenge to talk to Pepper or being distracted to flirt with OJ instead.
In the Infinity timeline (and other timelines), her relationship with Pepper is more and has toxic and causes her to have world-changing consequences.
Ever since "Objects in Mirror" Salt has stepped away from OJ and now works at a hospital in Inanimate Insanity IV.

Trivia[]
Competition[]
- Salt is the only contestant to have a friendship with another competitor before the show began.
- Salt is the first and only female to be eliminated in a double elimination, as Paintbrush is non-binary while Pickle, Paper, Nickel and Balloon are males.
- Her and Pepper are the only Season 1 contestants to never make it past the merge.
- After Pepper finally competed again in Inanimate Insanity IV, Salt has now gone the longest out of anyone without competing in a season.
General[]
- Salt has a history of liking the color pink, some examples include;
- Her phone color in "Alternate Reality Show" .
- Her clipboard, the font she used to introduce herself, and the color they change the main room into in "The Paper Cut".
- Some of the intro shots' background colors are pink and purple to match Salt and Pepper's colors.
- However, in "The Stacker (Remastered)", Salt gets purple colored nails instead of being pink.
- Salt has had five different voice actors over the course of the series, one less than Pepper, who has had six.
- Salt is one of four Season 1 veterans to compete only in one season, alongside Pickle. Bomb and Bow.
- In Alternate Reality Show, she and Pepper have kabourphobia (a fear of crabs) when Paintbrush went into rejection portal alongside with Baxter.
- This may be due to Test Tube throwing Baxter into the water below the Crappy Cliff while Salt and Pepper were in the water claiming he's "highly radioactive."
- Salt and Pepper are the least favorite characters in the whole Inanimate Insanity series according to the favorite character poll.
- They are also the only Season 1 contestants to never make it past the merge (However, this could be contradicted if Pepper makes it to the merge in Inanimate Insanity IV).
- She is currently the least voted contestant with 0.8% on the plush voting poll.
