"Seas The Day" is an animated short released on February 27, 2021.
Plot[]
Paper is seen taking a photo of the sea before laying down on a folding chair, sighing despondently. Pickle dives into the water, encouraging Paper to follow suit. Cheesy then appears from underneath the water to make a pun, prompting Pickle to question how long Cheesy had been waiting underwater. Cheesy avoids answering with another pun.
Pickle again encourages Paper to get into the water, but Paper politely refuses in fear of getting wet. Although Pickle and Cheesy continue to push Paper to join them, Paper reminds Pickle of a previous incident with water. In a flashback to a Christmas party, Paper expresses terror at seeing Tissues carrying a gallon of water, who claims he is trying to stay hydrated. Tissues then sneezes, dropping the gallon of water, which is revealed to be empty. Immediately after, however, alarms begin to blare, as Soap proclaims the sneezing an emergency and sets off the indoor sprinkler system, disintegrating Paper.
Despite this, Pickle dismisses the incident as a singular "bad experience," before faking a shark attack to coax Paper to get into the water. Although Paper initially overcomes his nervousness and moves to "save" Pickle, Lifering intervenes first, forcing Pickle to confess he faked the attack to convince Paper to overcome his fear of water. Furious, Lifering admonishes Pickle for faking danger and making him abandon his grilled cheese. Paper, similarly offended, confesses that he is upset that he cannot join Pickle and Cheesy in the water despite his interest. He then tears his newspaper in outrage, before guiltily apologizing to it as he walks away.
Resolving to help Paper, Pickle brings Paper out to the beach again at night. With Cheesy's help, Paper is hoisted up to a screen projector of the ocean. Touched, Paper thanks the two for finding a way to include him, only for a shark to suddenly burst through the screen and crush Pickle. Lifering appears, revealing he called in a favor from the shark to "teach them a lesson about how safety is no joke." Pickle weakly gives a thumbs-up from underneath as the short ends.

- This is the second short to use a paper-ish art style. The first time was in "Waffling About".
- This is Lifering's first appearance since "Tri Your Best".
- This is Pickle's first appearance since "Everything A-OJ".
- This is the first animation with Dee Cashin as the voice of Cheesy, after first voicing him in the "Complaints" comic dub.
- Pickle telling Paper he "can't let one bad experience [with water] ruin" his enjoyment is an implicit quoting of Knife's advice in Everything's A-OJ, in which Knife encouraged Pickle to continue to open himself up to others despite previous bad experiences with friendships.
