MeTag might not be non-binary[]
Going off of the article, the evidence of MeTag being non-binary is just of them using They/Them pronouns. Given they are barely animate, don't have a mouth or eyes, they could just as well be genderless, especially since they're a series of products that seemingly aren't seen as special by Cobs or other corns; to elaborate, MePhones are clearly each one of a kind, as there isn't another MePhone4, 4s or such, same with MePad. The MeTag on the show is referred to as "[Cobs]' MeTag", showing that MeTags aren't people, but animate property (except the MeTag on the show that broke away), so genderless could be a lot more fitting for them than non-binary.
