This is impossible! How could anyone on earth do this?

Marshmallow

"The Stacker" is the 5th episode of Inanimate Insanity, released on August 1, 2011. The episode was removed and promptly re-uploaded on September 14, 2011.

Team Epic was up for elimination for the third time. Nickel managed to be safe due to misspelled votes and Lightbulb was eliminated from the show.

Synopsis[]

For the next challenge, the teams were temporarily broken up and had to stack three golf balls, but the animators were so lazy that it couldn't be shown, and the last four to finish were up for elimination.

Plot[]

Intro[]

This episode begins with Salt and Pepper playing Frisbee. Pepper accidentally throws the Frisbee into Cloudy, who cries, before it lands on Salt. Pepper asks Salt is she's okay, and she answers that she is, but that when you tip a salt shaker, you get bad luck. Pepper, in disbelief, then asks that if Salt actually believes in something that bad. After waiting a few seconds, nothing happens, and the two are relieved, until a random bomb explodes on both of them.

Elimination Time[]

Team Epic is up for elimination. MePhone4 starts by stating that he made cookies, but admits he ate them, much to Team Epic's dismay. MePhone4 says that there are 265 votes, and explains that the contestant with the most votes will be eliminated. Knife nervously says that he's probably doomed, but MePhone4 tells Knife not to be

scared, because he won immunity. Team Epic gets Dora Dolls.

MePhone4 gives the first one to Knife. He gives the second one to Paintbrush, who has 33 votes. Nickel gets the third doll, having 46 votes. MePhone4 states that many people voted for Nick-Le with 70 votes, alluding to viewers who intended to vote for Nickel, but misspelled his name. Lightbulb receives 64 votes and is eliminated, rendering Marshmallow safe with 52 votes.

The Challenge[]

The next challenge is golf ball stacking; the contestants have to stack three golf balls. The players who couldn't would be up for elimination. Marshmallow says to OJ that the contest sounds easy, but MePhone4 corrects her, explaining that it's actually hard. He states that the teams will be temporarily broken up for this challenge. Paintbrush protests, stating that the teams were only just established.

The challenge starts with Marshmallow stating that the challenge was easy. When she attempts to stack her third golf ball, the entire stack is knocked apart, after which she angrily kicks a golf ball, which collides with Nickel's stack of three golf balls. Nickel begins to yell at Marshmallow, calling her cruel. Marshmallow explains that it was an accident. Paintbrush happily announces that they have stacked their second golf ball, and only need one more.

(A short sequence displays text stating that Bomb, Salt, Pickle, and Balloon stacked their golf balls with ease, and that the creators did not want to bore the viewers with a video of objects stacking golf balls. This is followed by more text, which admits that the creators were actually just too lazy to animate it.)

Bomb, Salt, Pickle, and Balloon have finished stacking their golf balls, and soon after, OJ finishes his stack. MePhone4 states that there are only two spots remaining, when Paintbrush happily cheers out to MePhone4 that they have finished with their stack, leaving one spot left. Marshmallow nearly stacks all of her golf balls, until Nickel kicks her stack in revenge and stacks his final golf ball, rendering Marshmallow, Knife, Pepper, and Taco up for elimination.

Trivia[]

  • This was the first time that a contestant was eliminated due to miscounted votes.
  • The sequence where animation is substituted for text was originally intended to be fully-animated. Adam Katz assigned the animation of the sequence to Justin Chapman, who was unable to finish it in time. The animated scene would had depicted more scenes of rivalry between Nickel and Marshmallow.
  • This episode begins the reoccurring of MePhone4 referring to himself as a "fat slob."
  • This is the first episode in which Adam Katz fully voices Marshmallow, replacing AmandaRulez85 after their online activity. He produced some vocalizations for Marshmallow at the beginning of the previous episode.
  • This episode has a deleted scene relevant to the recommended character contest featured in the next two episodes.
  • This is the Season 1 episode with the fewest YouTube views.
  • This would be the very last episode in which Rochelle Garciano provides the voice of Pepper. She would be credited in several succeeding episodes of Season 1, despite having no actual involvement in their production.
  • This is the first episode of Season 1 to appear in a YouTube Short on the AnimationEpic channel. This makes Salt and Pepper the first Season 1 competitors to appear in a Short.
