—Walkie-Talkie in You Can't Do This Forever |
Walkie-Talkie is the main antagonist in Inanimate Insanity Invitational, formerly residing on Indefinite Island and later a leader of The Unvitational Committee. She is voiced by Rosemary Craig.
Appearance[]
Walkie-Talkie is a handheld yellow and black walkie-talkie. The device's face is yellow while the rim is black, with a black antenna and power button. The middle of the device has a blue screen with faded black text on it, typically reading the numbers "04 03". However, after the intro in The Show Must Go On, the numbers changed to "20 33".
Personality[]
Despite the gloomy environment of Indefinite Island, Walkie-Talkie has an upbeat cheerful personality, welcoming the eliminated contestants to the island, and wanting them to stay.
Despite her desire and satisfaction of the show's progression, she has a fear of a possible discontinuation of the show, trying to convince MePhone4 several times to use the Animation Machine to create practically infinite episodes. However, this may be a facade as she is willing to work with Springy, who managed to escape from The Floor after being eaten. In "A Jury of Your Fears", Walkie assembles her own group called "The Unvitational Committee" to take down MePhone, showing a much more sinister side of herself.
In You Can't Do This Forever, Walkie then redeems herself and gets a second chance by MePhone4, her personality changes from then.
Abilities[]
- Android Manipulation: As seen in "A Jury of Your Fears", Walkie-Talkie has the ability to control and move the Spring-toys.

Trivia[]
- In "You Can't Do This Forever", it is implied that Walkie-Talkie was manufactured to spy on MePhone4, with Walkie saying that she was just made for him, and that he was her voice on "the other side". It is currently unknown if she is a Meeple Inc. creation.
- Despite popular fan theories that Walkie-Talkie was being spoken through a mysterious character, possibly Taco, Walkie seems to simply be a sentient walkie-talkie.
- Due to this, Walkie-Talkie seems to be the first entirely limbless and faceless character in Inanimate Insanity. Additionally, Black Hole is the first limbless and faceless character to speak prior to Walkie-Talkie's debut, but that's an alternate universe.
- And as of now, Black Hole, and Walkie-Talkie are the only limbless and faceless characters in the entire series.
- Due to this, Walkie-Talkie seems to be the first entirely limbless and faceless character in Inanimate Insanity. Additionally, Black Hole is the first limbless and faceless character to speak prior to Walkie-Talkie's debut, but that's an alternate universe.
- Walkie-Talkie has the most episode appearances in Inanimate Insanity Invitational out of any non-contestant or host, appearing in 10 out of 19 episodes.
- Walkie-Talkie is one of three major antagonists present in the series, the others being Steve Cobs and Springy.
- Walkie-Talkie and Steve Cobs have some similar parallels, leading to some fan theories on them being the same.
- Both Walkie and Cobs seemed to have a primary goal of taking down MePhone4, although both have somewhat different motives. Both also seem to be interested in more heavily advanced technology.
- Both characters have also been leaders of antagonistic groups or companies, with Steve Cobs being the leader of Meeple Inc. and Walkie leading The Unvitational Committee.
- Walkie-Talkie and Steve Cobs are also yellow colored.
- There's also a deeper connection to the two of them. In "You Can't Do This Forever", Walkie-Talkie assures MePhone4 in a sinister manner that the ones he created or respawn will always work by him, meaning MePhone4 is responsible for creating and regenerating contestants, as he is the only source to doing so. This became a foreshadowing connection when Steve Cobs told Suitcase and Knife told the same truth about MePhone4 being their one and only creator, not just the show. There will be a theory where Walkie-Talkie would be one of Steve Cobs' pseudo inventions apart from the numerous products he made over the years, and it might be hypothetical for now.
- It is currently unknown how Walkie-Talkie relates to Springy, or how she knew that he was stuck under The Floor. Some popular fan theories believe that the two could have been created by Meeple, but they are currently unconfirmed.
- It is also unknown how she got to Indefinite Island, becoming the so-called "owner" of it.
- Walkie-Talkie seems to be able to turn herself off and on, as she does so in "Stranded in Paradise". However, she can also be turned off by a different character such as Silver Spoon as seen in "You Can't Do This Forever".
